Hebron Channel 12 Content Guidelines

 No obscene or indecent material will be cablecast.

Specific areas warranting the scrutiny of Diode Telecom, Inc., include illegal activity, profanity, and content which are offensive. 

Copyrighted material may be only used with written permission from the copyright holder.

Public events will be advertised no less than one day and no more than 2 weeks.

Birthdays, Anniversaries or special Occasions will be published for a maximum of 1 week.

Business ads must appear for a minimum of one (1) week.

Non-profit ads will appear on a weekly basis and updated each Monday.

Information will only be updated or added to channel 12 Monday through Friday and no later than 4:30 p.m. each day.

Cablecast Policies

 1)  All programs should be in possession of Diode Telecom, Inc. 24 hours before scheduled to play.  Tapes delivered less than 24 hours in advance may not play on time.

2)  All tapes must be quality SVHS/VHS cassettes.  Some inferior brands of the tape do not work well in the VCRs.

3)  All tapes must have 30 seconds of black at the beginning and 5 minutes of black at the end of the program.  Tapes must be rewound when delivered.

4)  All programs must be 28 or 58 minutes in length unless approved by Diode Telecom, Inc.

5)  All tapes must have complete audio on channel 2 and must have good video quality with no damage or excessive dropouts.

6)  Program material must start by 1:30 from the head of the tape.

7)  All tapes MUST be labeled properly.  The tape must have labels on the tape itself as well as on the spine with the program title, total running time, producer’s or group’s name, and the first air date (or date turned in.)

8)  Diode Telecom, Inc. will schedule all programs.  All scheduling is subject to change, with notice when possible.
